Earlier this year I left Block after working on Square and Cash App for 9 years. Here's what I've been up to since then:

• 16 Aug, 2026 On Together

  I'm making a mod for the game On Together. In On Together you just.. hang out with people, usually on the beach. You meet all sorts of cool people doing all sorts of things: co-working, studying for exams, doing chores around the house. And you do them together! I've been hanging out in there for the past month working on various personal projects.

  My mod:

  • has a custom map: a cozy bar at the top of a rainy Tokyo skyscraper
  • streams my own internet radio
  • includes a multiplayer pool table!

  This is my first time making a mod for a game and I'm learning a lot:

  • godot and gdscript > unity and c#
  • syncing and interpolating objects efficiently in a multiplayer game is a tricky problem (pool table)
  • ai is still not good at architecture
